Why Fundraise for us?
In sub-Saharan Africa, many teachers don’t have the minimum teaching qualifications and many are not listened to or empowered. As a result, many are leaving the profession and the learning outcomes of young people is being stunted. In some instances, only 5% of young people have reached the required level of proficiency in reading.
All children deserve a quality education from a transformative and supported teacher. Fundraising helps the Commonwealth Education Trust invest in teachers in low-and middle-income settings by providing accessible teacher professional development.
