Commonwealth Education Trust extends partnership with The Helga Todd Foundation to Upskill teachers in India and Africa

Over the last two years, with the help of The UK based Helga Todd Teachers Education Foundation, teachers at Calcutta Rescue working with children in some of Kolkata’s most impoverished neighbourhoods have successfully accessed Teach2030 courses.

As a result of a successful working relationship, Helga Todd Teachers Education has extended its partnership with the Commonwealth Education Trust to now include two schools in India and one in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Over the next two years, with HTF supporting the implementation of Teach2030, all three schools will access Teach2030 courses and explore topics, activities, and strategies in depth, enabling steady and continued teacher development.

The CET will provide Implementation materials, progress reports and virtual workshops to support all teachers taking Teach2030 courses.

Ben Taubman, one of the trustees of HTF remarked “I am so pleased that we can extend this collaboration and cement a firm partnership that will grow in the future”

Thank you to the Helga Todd Teachers Foundation for making this partnership possible.
