Partnerships between UK schools and global educational programmes are more than symbolic — they are vehicles for real, sustainable change.
In a recent article news item in School Management Plus, we shared how these relationships help students become active global citizens, while enabling mutual learning and long-term impact.
We’re extremely proud that the Commonwealth Education Trust (CET) and Radley College have been walking this path together for several years. Together, we have raised significant funds that enable teacher training across Commonwealth countries, empowering educators to improve learning outcomes and reduce learning poverty.
Our Recent Visit & Renewal of Commitment

In mid-September, Adam, Sarah, and I visited Radley to meet with leadership, hear from students, and renew our shared commitment to impact. During our visit, we were deeply impressed by the boys’ energy, the school’s ethos around global responsibility, and the care with which Radley supports this partnership.
Last year’s Radley cohort already set a strong benchmark: the Remove boys raised £9,764 for the CET, illustrating not just ambition but real generosity and dedication.
This visit was also a chance to hear directly from students and staff about the challenges, successes, and hopes for what’s next. It reminded us that behind every figure is a human story — a teacher in Ghana or Malawi planning a new lesson, a classroom buzzing with renewed creativity, or a young student whose future is brighter because a teacher received better support.

What This Year’s Boys Are Doing
